Company
One of the top global pharmaceutical companies in the world has created a new position for a Pharmacovigilance Scientist position, based in The Netherlands with some international travel.
Role
*Contribution to all product safety tasks, such as data validation of adverse report ensuring accuracy and completeness in line with relevant regulations and legislation.
*Ensuring all phase 2-4 studies are configured in the safety database prior to patient inclusion.
*Providing support for the Pharmacovigilance Physician in ensuring timely execution of risk management processes.
*Contributing to the detection and appraisal of safety signals from various sources.
*Analysis of clinical data and providing feedback to the Pharmacovigilance Physician for processing of safety signals.
*Contribution to Scientific contribution, review and submission of expert statements, PSURs, ASRs, DSURs and other ad hoc drug safety documents.
*Providing Pharmacovigilance contribution for projects and relevant documents for other departments.
*Provide communication and training of PV aspects to all concerned (internal/external) parties.
Qualifications
*Must hold a biomedical sciences degree, medical or paramedic background.
*Must have at least 1-2 years of Pharmacovigilance experience within the Pharmaceutical industry.
*Expected to have an excellent working knowledge of pharmaceutical medicine, including Pharmacovigilance.
*Should have excellent verbal and written communications skills in English as well as experience of leading meetings, giving presentations and training juniors.
*Clinical or research experience preferred.
