A top global Pharmaceutical company has an opening for a Senior Clinical Research Associate to be office based at their Buckinghamshire site.


Role

- Report into the Principle CRA and generally there would be 2/3 Senior CRA's working on a particular study, they would be responsible for certain Countries within the Study, and would work closely with the Country CRA's and sites.
- This position could be best described as an in-house Senior CRA, they would not monitor, however they would co-monitor and train CRA in their designated Countries, so it is important that they have been a CRA, for a good few years.
- This role is above and beyond the traditional monitoring CRA role and is all about, mentoring, planning, escalation of issue and management of issues, taking that accountability.


Qualifications

- B.A./B.Sc. preferably in science or health-related field
- Relevant Clinical Research experience is required.
- Monitoring experience is preferred.
- Experience of full project life cycle of a study required.
- UK experience and ideally European experience.
- Ideally some experience of mentoring more Junior CRA's.
- Exposure to reviewing monitoring reports required.
- Candidate should have a strong working knowledge of all relevant and applicable Clinical Regulations, eg: Good Clinical Practices, ICH guidelines, PhRMA code, CFR Guidelines, clinical research ethics, HIPAA and patient privacy laws (plus applicable local regulations when working across regions).
- Knowledge of concepts of clinical research and drug development, and General therapeutic area education and training
